MAXIMUM PHOTON ANTIBUNCHING IN GENERALIZED COHERENT STATES

摘要
If when light falls on a photoelectron emitter the random number of photoelectrons counted in a time interval is m, the quantity [Var m - E(m)]/[E(m)]2 is called the bunching ratio. It is zero for light coherent to all orders and positive for thermal light, but may be negative for other kinds of light. Here it is shown that when the incident light is in a generalized coherent state, the most negative value of this ratio is of the order of -N-1T where NT is the total number of incident photons. © 1979.
