摘要
The rheology of a smectic main-chain polymer shows that the activation energy is high (275 kJ mol-1) and that the viscosity is more than two orders of magnitude higher than in the isotropic phase. The recoverable strain in the smectic phase is largely due to the reformation of the smectic layers after cessation of shear. © 1990 Steinkopff.
