摘要
The crystal structure of the title compound [H2L]2[Cu(SCN)3] (where H2L+ is the 6-amino-1,3-dimethyl-5(2'-ethyl)phenylazonium uracil cation] was determined by X-ray crystallography. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1), with a = 7.740(3), b = 40.09(3), c = 11.950(7) angstrom, beta = 97.11(4)-degrees, Z = 4, R = 0.125, wR = 0.108. The structure consists of discrete [Cu(SCN)3]2-anions and H2L+ cations joined together by hydrogen bonds. There are two non-equivalent tris(thiocyanato-S)cuprate(I) anions in the structure. In each anion the copper(I) atom is coordinated to the sulfur atoms of the three thiocyanate anions in a distorted trigonal planar configuration.
