EFFECT OF THE ANISOTROPY CONSTANT ON THE STRIP DOMAINS OF METGLAS 2826 AND CO85P15 AMORPHOUS MATERIALS

摘要
The effect of external compression and tension stresses applied perpendicularly to the sample easy axis on the strip domain of two amorphous materials (Metglas 2826 and Co85P15) with different signs of the magnetostriction constant has been studied. The experimental results have been compared with the Murayama and Hubert models for low and high values of the anisotropy constant, showing good agreement with the first model and bad agreement with the second one, probably due to the complicated secondary domain structure observed experimentally. © 1979.
