摘要
An improved version of a 3 atm argon methane "Keisch type" proportional counter for backscatter Mossbauer spectroscopy of Fe-57 is described- The counter anode wire has the shape of a circle. The deformations of the electric field. caused by the anode holders, have been corrected by means of special sleeves.
