摘要
The activation parameters for C-N rotation in N,N-dimethylacetamide and N,N-dimethylacetamide-d3 have been determined as a function of concentration in the solvent formamide. These data and the nmr spectral properties for these systems indicate that hydrogen bonding between dimethylamides and formamide stabilizes the planar ground state leading to higher rotational barriers. © Copyright, 1969, by the American Chemical Society.
