摘要
The effect of process parameters; hydraulic loadings and organic concentration on ammonia nitrification was investigated using a four-stage aerated submerged fixed-film (ASFF) reactor and a synthetic organic wastewater having a carbon:nitrogen ratio of 27 : 20. The ASFF reactor was found to be effective for nitrification of ammonia rich organic wastewaters. The organic removal efficiency decreased as the hydraulic loading was increased, whereas the ammonia-nitrogen removal efficiency decreased as the mass loading was increased.
