摘要
The crystallographic structures of A(x)B1-x (A = a hydride-forming metal, B = non-hydride-forming metal) intermetallic compounds before and after hydrogen absorption have been identified using X-ray diffraction, to known the types of amorphizing intermetallic compounds. Amorphous alloys are formed by hydrogenation of the intermetallic compounds with the C15, C23, B8(2), D0(19) and L1(2) structures and having relatively low thermal stabilities. The compositions of these compounds are expressed as AB2, A2B and A3B.
