摘要
The purpose of this paper is to compare the results of the mathematical models implemented in two different general purpose computer codes with the spectra of the accelerometric package mounted on board the first Tethered Satellite (TSS-1). The main characteristics of the codes are presented first. A test case is presented to outline the cross-check activity performed for simulator validation. Hence, the simulated reconstruction of the dynamics during the on-station at 256 m is depicted and discussed. Then, a short review is made of instrument performances and data quality, after which computed and experimental spectra with data from a station keeping phase during which the tether length was 256 m are compared and discussed.
