摘要
The effectiveness of extended ion-interaction equations in the treatment of activity and osmotic coefficients for very concentrated electrolytes is explored for the examples LiCl-H2O, ZnCl2-H2O, and NaCl-ZnCl2-H2O. For the two pure electrolytes the results are very satisfactory. Although satisfactory agreement was also obtained for the solubility of NaCl in the ternary system, this is too limited a data base to justify general conclusions.
