摘要
Elastic wave velocity measurements in two oriented Pt single crystals have been measured in the temperature range 300-1480 K. The elastic constants C11, C12 and C44 are in excellent agreement with previous low temperature data and exhibit a temperature-dependence which is not in accord with the quasi-harmonic model. The temperature-dependence of the shear constant is in qualitative agreement with a model which relates the electronic structure to the value of C44.
