摘要
We have synthesized several ternary uranium gallides. UNiGa2 is an enhanced Pauli paramagnet, whereas UPd2Ga, UNiGa3 and UNiGa4 undergo antiferromagnetic transitions at 6.5, 39 and 42 K, respectively. In UCu3+xGa2-x (0.1 less-than-or-equal-to x less-than-or-equal-to 0.8), T(N)(x) assumes a maximum of 17.4 K near x = 0.3 and a nonmagnetic heavy-fermion state evolves with further increase in x. Metamagnetic transitions occur in UNiGa3, UNiGa4 and UCu3.1Ga1.9 between 5 and 9 T at 4.2 K.
