摘要：

The Butler-Hewitt-McKellar-May theory of stripping reactions is modified to take into account the blocking effect of particle-hole correlations in the core, which populate the final neutron state with probability 1-P. The basic relation of the theory between the direct-reaction matrix element MC and the continuum matrix element MS is altered to MC=S12(P-S)-1MS. © 1969 The American Physical Society.
