ANALYSIS OF PATIENTS WITH TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT PAIN

摘要：

Patients suffering from the temporomandibular joint syndrome were studied in regard to the location of painful sites. Results indicated that the pain was most often localized in the region of the joint. Temporomandibular joint pain was accompanied by pain in three or more extra-articular zones, in most instances. All data strongly suggest a close relationship between extra-articular pain and muscle spasm. © 1969 The C. V. Mosby Company.
