ON ORIENTATION CHANGES DURING PLASTIC DEFORMATION OF INDIVIDUAL CRYSTALLITES IN POLYCRYSTALLINE AGGREGATES

摘要
The orientation changes of individual crystallites in aluminium wires were studied during 1% plastic deformation. The crystals near the [111]‐ideal orientation rotated towards this orientation according to the Taylor theory. The crystals of the weak [100]‐texture component showed no resulting rotation component towards [100] in contradiction to the Taylor theory. Copyright © 1969 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
