摘要
A gap between a photocathode and the liquid into which charge emission is directed considerably enhances the magnitude of photocurrent normally obtained. It also makes the process relatively insensitive to electronegative contaminants such as oxygen, even at stresses as low as a few tens of volts per centimetre. © 1969, The Institution of Electrical Engineers.
