摘要
Dihydralazine treatment which lowered blood pressure in young rats from the Lyon Hypertensive Strain (LHS) did not change phenylethanolamine-N-methyltransferase (PNMT) activity, but decreased tyrosine hydroxylase and dopamine-.beta.-hydroxylase activities in the C2 medullary region. The increase in PNMT activity, previously described for this strain, is not a consequence of the developing hypertension and hypotensive treatment could inactivate some catecholaminergic neurons of the medulla oblongata.
