摘要
Acidic properties of ZSM-5 zeolites have been studied by infrared spectroscopy. Tetrapropylammonium ions in ZSM-5 decompose at 400-500°C and acidic and nonacidic OH groups are observed by evacuation at 500°C. The Brönsted acidity (OH band at 3600 cm-1)increases considerably by ion exchange of Na+ with H+. Lewis acidity of H-ZSM-5 is observed by evacuation at 800°C, though the framework is partially destroyed. The ZSM-5 zeolite exchanged with Ca2+ or Cu2+ has been also examined. © 1979, Akademische Verlagsgesellschaft.
