摘要
Describes the excitation of lasers in carbon dioxide: nitrogen mixtures containing up to several per cent of oxygen. The discharges are stabilised at specific loadings of about 500 J 1-1 (100 kPa)-1 and total pressures of 200 kPa. The results serve to show that the corona-stabilised discharge scheme developed recently by the authors should simplify considerably the construction of sealed-off devices.
