PREPARATION AND PHYSICAL-PROPERTIES OF FCC-IRON AND COPPER MULTILAYERS

摘要
Fcc-iron was epitaxially grown on a copper single crystal. The multilayered fcc-Fe films could be grown epitaxially on the Cu(001) single crystal. The fcc-Fe/Cu multilayered film shows ferromagnetism whose magnetic moment of Fe atom is (2.0 +/- 0.2)mu-B. The Curie temperature is about 400 to 578 K which increases with increasing the number of Fe layers. The perpendicular magnetization was observed for the multilayered film with 2.8 ML Fe.
