摘要
Glassy indium phosphate films have been examined as monomode planar waveguides in the fabrication of evanescently excited fluorescence immunosensors. A sandwich assay for hCG in serum was used as a model system. An eight-fold increase in sensitivity was obtained on using a thin-film waveguide as opposed to multiple internal reflections in a microscope slide. © 1990.
