Radiative lifetime of nitrogen dioxide using a tunable organic dye laser

摘要
The observation of time-resolved fluorescence from NO2 molecules excited by a tunable organic dye laser (4400 angstrom-4900 angstrom) has allowed a determination of the radiative lifetime as a function of excitation wavelength. Observed lifetimes are in the range 70-82 mu sec.
