摘要
Pyrolytic graphite electrodes are coated with films of poly(L-lysine) (PLL). The polyelectrolyte films bind multiply charged counterions. Cyclic voltammetry is used to investigate the incorporation of Fe(CN)(6)(3-) anions as a function of time, concentration, pH, and ionic strength. The stability of the film is studied after transfer of the PLL, coatings into an electrolyte solution. The PLL-modified pyrolytic graphite (PG) electrode proves to be very effective in facilitating electron transfers of negatively charged proteins, such as ferredoxin and hydrogenase.
