摘要
Eight new ternary compounds, LnRh//2X//2, where Ln is a rare earth and X EQUVLNT P or As were synthesized. They crystallize in the tetragonal CaBe//2Ge//2-type structure. Their lattice constants are reported. The crystal structure of CeRh//2P//2 has been thoroughly analyzed by single-crystal X-ray diffractometry. This structural analysis leads to the conclusion that the structure can be usefully described in a model, based on the non-metal environment of the transition metal atoms, previously used for the description of the transition metal phosphides.
