摘要
This communication reports microwave dielectric properties of a new kind of quasi-one-dimensional conductor, Cu(tatbp)I. This compound incorporates an array of local moments strongly coupled to a one-dimensional 'Fermi sea' of charge carriers located on the molecular orbitals. The microwave conductivity shows a similar temperature behavior to the one observed in related compounds, the main difference lying in the observation of a new regime of conduction in the low temperature region (T less than 6 K). This regime is intimately related to the presence of local moments as suggested by EPR results. Similar effects have also been observed on the dielectric constant in the same range. A mgnetic field study of both the microwave conductivity and dielectric constant is in progress.
