摘要
Evidence that gibberellins have a role in the growth of the flower of carnation is presented. Gibberellin-like substances were detected in extracts of the flower and gibberellic acid applied to the developing bud caused an increase in petal size. © 1969 OXFORD UNIVERSITY PRESS.
