摘要
Several in vitro and in vivo tests are described that are useful for determining microbially antagonist effects on resting spores of Plasmodiophora brassicae Wor. Defined or undefined soil-borne bacterial isolates were used to examine artificially contaminated, previously purified resting spores of P. brassicae in liquid or solid media for modifications in their outer appearance and vitality, and in the infected root hair count for their infectivity. Utilization of the TYNDALL effect for determining the lysis of P. brassicae resting spores in agar medium to which test microorganisms had been added turned out to be particularly useful.
