摘要
The application of EIS as a new tool for the investigation of methods of corrosion protection is illustrated for corrosion inhibitors, conversion coatings, polymer coatings, polymer coating and oxide layers as well as for cathodic protection of stainless steels in seawater. It is pointed out that it is essential for all these cases to develop the appropriate models for the impedance which can be used to fit the experimental data and extract the parameters which characterize the corrosion process. © 1990.
