摘要：

We have applied the fluorescent-converter technique to the design and construction of a segmented calorimeter. Design criteria are discussed, and detailed measurements are reported on various materials of possible use. BBQ-doped acrylic converter bars were developed for this work; a design using acrylic scintillator and BBQ converter bars gave very good uniformity of response. © 1979.
