摘要
We develop a self-consistent model for excitable media, the so-called "wave front interaction model" (WFM), in which two waves, the front and the back, interact with a relaxational field c2. We study numerically the solutions corresponding to spirals rotating steadily with an angular velocity omega, with a tip rotating around an unexcited region of radius r0. It is found that these two quantities are determined uniquely as a function of epsilon, the ratio between fast reaction time and refractory time, and the excitability delta. Corresponding shapes for spirals are determined, and in particular the shape and the size of the core. A semi-analytical solution for the spiral shape is found in the large r0 limit.
