摘要
Wavelength conversion of 5-10Gbit/s data channels is demonstrated by use of a DFB laser. A penalty free wavelength shift of 5 nm is obtained for data rates up to 8Gbit/s. The coupled optical input power is -1 d Bm and converted output power is 15 d Bm at the facet.
