摘要
We have developed a method whereby the efficiency of a coaxial germanium detector can be determined with an accuracy of a few percent for the energy region from 0.05 to 4.0 MeV by using only the specifications provided by the manufacturer. The accuracy can be further improved to within 1-2% by using one to four (or more) measured efficiency points. Our method also allows the detector efficiency-versus-energy curve to be applied to any source-to-detector distance.
