摘要
Mixing of two miscible liquids in turbulent flow was studied using laser-generated light as the discriminating tool. Time-average light-scatter measurements give directly a spectrum for spatial variations in concentration. The measured dependence of this spectrum upon the decay time during which concentration variations are dissipated serves to characterize the mixing process. © 1969, American Chemical Society.
