摘要
We present lowest-order perturbation-theoretic corrections to the pseudopotential parameter for electrons in the second Landau level in the presence of a filled lowest level as a result of Coulomb scattering to higher Landau orbitals. We consider virtual processes that include up to two holes in the lowest level. We find appreciable corrections in the magnetic field range 610 T. Progressively the shorter-range components of the pseudopotential parameters are found to be reduced by larger amounts. The type of pairing correlation introduced by the hollow-core model wave function may be favored by such reductions. © 1990 The American Physical Society.
