摘要：

The optical absorption of strain reduced thallous iodide films has been measured. Strong absorption of the order of 105 cm-1 is observed and a number of relatively sharp lines appear. An exciton-longitudinal optical phonon coupled state sideband to the first exciton peak is observed. © 1969.
