ENERGY-TRANSFER AS AN EXPLANATION OF THE RADIOLYSIS PRODUCTS IN 1,8-DICHLOROOCTANE-N-DECANE-H22 MIXTURES

摘要
We report measurements of the yields of hydrogen gas, chloride ion, total radical and ·C8H16Cl radical in the radiolysis of the system 1,8-dichlorooctane in n-decane-h22 at 77 K and 195 K. Two models are discussed in an attempt to explain these results; selective abstraction by hydrogen and energy transfer. The latter model gives a better fit to the experimental data. © 1978.
