摘要
Studies utilising F-19 NMR spectroscopy have demonstrated that callus culture of Dichapetalum cymosum can efficiently convert fluoropyruvate to fluoroacetate, fluorolactate and fluoride. The conversion of fluoropyruvate to fluoroacetate is unusual in a biological system and the possible role of fluoropyruvate in the biosynthesis of fluoroacetate is discussed.
