摘要
The volatiles from the thermal decomposition and combustion of nitrocellulose were analyzed continuously by coupling a rapid-scanning mass spectrometer to a strand burner. The strand burner was operated at low pressure, 10 torr, in a helium atmosphere to prevent gas phase reactions. The predominant oxide of nitrogen observed is nitric oxide. © 1968 American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Inc., All rights reserved.
