摘要
This paper presents an exact determination of coupled bending and torsion vibration characteristics of uniform beams having single cross-sectional symmetry. A novel feature of the analysis is the expression of the exact solution in terms of real functions, as is usual in more elementary vibration problems of beams. Numerical results are given to explain the effect of the shear center offset on the natural frequencies.
