摘要：

A method for long-term catheterization of the portal vein system after abdominal operation in man is described. By use of Teflon tubes no complications were noticed in 100 patients with implanted catheters. The methodical difficulties are discussed and indications are demonstrated. © 1969 Springer-Verlag.
