RELATIVE ACCUMULATION OF MACRONUTRIENT IONS IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF CUCUMBER (CUCUMIS-SATIVUS)

摘要
Absorption selectivity towards macroelements in cucumber was characterized using plots where the proportions between the elements, expressed as equivalent fractions, were compared. The selectivity was highly positive towards K+, slightly positive towards SO2- 4 and H2PO- 4, and negative towards Ca2+, whereas there was no selectivity towards Mg2+. NO- 3 absorption was characterized by a selectivity reversal in relation to its proportion in the nutrient solution. This method also allowed the compartmentalization in the plant, the translocations between the various organs and the redistributions during senescence to be studied. © 1990.
