摘要
The Curie temperature of the amorphous phase in rapidly quenched Nd14Fe80B6 is shown to be an excellent measure of the relative quench rate. The technique depends on the existence of a significant range of quench rates where the material contains two phases and consists of crystallites of well-defined stoichiometry embedded in a magnetic amorphous matrix. The change in the concentration of the crystalline phase with quench rate results in a change in composition of the amorphous matrix and hence in its Curie temperature which is thus directly related to the relative quench rate. © 1990.
