摘要
The development of useful techniques for selecting features from polarization-diverse radar backscatter measurements is presented. A technique for representing the full-polarization information of the predominant scatterers of an unknown object is introduced and its characteristics are discussed. The performance of radar target identification systems employing sets of features derived from this representation is evaluated by means of Monte-Carlo simulation studies.
