摘要
Charge-discharge characteristics of electrochemically prepared V2O5(e-V2O5) was studied as a cathode active material for lithium secondary batteries compared to crystalline V2O5(c-V2O5) and amorphous V2O5-P2O5(a-V2O5-P2O5) (1, 2). The e-V2O5 showed similar behavior to a-V2O5-P2O5 rather than c-V2O5 and gave good cyclability and a high capacity of 150 Ah/kg nearly equal to a-V2O5-P2O5. The x-ray diffraction and IR spectra for e-V2O5 did not change at various states of discharge, which supports the behavior of e-V2O5 as a desirable cathode active material for lithium secondary battery.
