ELECTROCHEMICAL SYNTHESIS OF POLYPYRROLE FILMS CONTAINING TIO2 POWDER PARTICLES

摘要
Electrochemical synthesis of polypyrrole with incorporated TiO2 has been undertaken by electrolysis of pyrrole in the presence of illuminated TiO2 in ethanol and by electrolysis of pyrrole in the presence of aqueous TiO2 suspensions containing a small amount of electrolyte anions. Successful results have been obtained for electrolysis in the presence of a small amount of electrolyte anions such as SO42− and I− which specifically adsorb onto TiO2 particle surfaces. The resulting polypyrrole films exhibited photosensitivities due to the incorporated TiO2. © 1990, The Electrochemical Society, Inc. All rights reserved.
