摘要
The distinct properties of phenolic resin systems, coupled with the efficiency of the pultrusion process, have the potential to allow the manufacture of light-weight corrosion and fire resistant structural composite sections. This paper covers a research programme into the feasibility of phenolics pultrusion. Processing, mechanical properties and fire performance of pultruded phenolic composites are outlined, together with possible applications and the future for these materials.
