摘要
A comparison of the beta synthesis of Ramachandran and Raman (1959) with the usual heavy-atom synthesis is made in the case of a three-dimensional structure determination of L-arginine monohydrobromide monohydrate and theoretical results are verified. As predicted by the theory, the beta synthesis reveals the unknown part of the structure with relatively much higher strength than the heavy-atom synthesis. © 1969, Walter de Gruyter.
