摘要：

From an unknown signal plus noise, we consider the difference in amplitude between the quantized output and the signal plus mean value of the noise. Whatever the width of the quantizer step and the probability density distribution of the noise, the probability density distribution of the final error is evaluated exactly. © 1969 IEEE.
