摘要
The results relating to the characterization of dislocation cells obtained from fatigued high-purity polycrystalline aluminum are presented. Thanks to the use of Kikuchi lines, the role of the dislocation cell walls is demonstrated. The nature and the amplitude of disorientation have been determined, namely, close to the walls of the same cell. The results are analyzed from the point of view of internal constraints by considering the wall formed by a single sub-joint or by two opposite-sign sub-joints. The latter hypothesis seems to be in agreement with the mechanical behavior derived from fatigue tests.
