摘要：

A Ca-smectite which may be suitable as buffer material for nuclear-waste disposal is being investigated in a cooperative research project of Sweden and France. In this article the strength-,compression-, and swelling-properties of this clay are described. Some important conclusions of the test procedures and the general behaviour of the clay are drawn and suggestions for further work are made. © 1990.
